I admire carpenters because they build things. Also because of their motto – measure twice, cut once. That’s the smart way to work. My goal is to be someone that smart people want to work with, regardless of title or department. The job is always to produce solutions that build business. Humor, heart and craftsmanship essential.

What I’m doing right now: TPN/NY, an Omnicom Company. Group Creative Director, Bank of America, leading a team of 16 writers and art directors on Consumer Bank and Merrill Lynch lines of business. Plus new business, agency communications and “other.”

What I just finished doing: launching nomee, first brand-friendly social networking software. Harnesses the power of 140 social sites into an integrated, sponsored digital stream. Social media is price of admission for 360º consumer persuasion. nomee will help brands connect now.

What I'm doing now and then: Ghostwriting blogs for two Fortune 500 CEO’s (to the remaining 498 ~ call me); Freelance writing and marketing for clients and agencies that in no way conflict with Bank of America or its subsidiaries. I’m also a produced playwright. My most-staged work is Karaoke – The Unoriginal Musical. I’m also a recorded songwriter. Closest brush with greatness: I Believe I’m Believin’ Again, soundtrack cut of Keith Carradine NASCAR movie On The Line.

What I've done before: television, print, retail, web and experiential marketing for MasterCard, Capital One, Citibank, Sony, P&G, IKEA, AT&T/Cingular, Kraft Foods, MillerCoors, Sara Lee, Pioneer, Nokia, Brown Forman, Beringer Vineyards, Tropicana Orange Juice, Entenmann’s Bakeries, Thomas’ English Muffins, Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.

Of the fifty or so videos I've done, here are two of my favorites.

Most unusual project to date: I filled two floors of a Capital One office building with museum-quality informational graphics, displays, computer-driven kiosks and nearly a thousand juggling balls. Click here for a PDF resume.
